The Peel Student Presidents’ Council (PSPC)
The Peel Student Presidents’ Council or PSPC is a dynamic group of student leaders who are strong proponents to leadership across the Peel District School Board. They host two annual leadership conferences, and work with the Student Trustees to represent the students and assist SACs at Peel schools.
As quoted from their Constitution, the five objectives of the PSPC are to:
-
To promote and enhance communication and co-operation between students and student councils within the jurisdiction of the Peel District School Board;
-
To represent the student councils of Peel District in communicating their opinions and advancing their interests in all matters of concern to any student councils in Peel;
-
To act as a liaison between the Peel District School Board and the students under its jurisdiction;
-
To promote and enhance the development of leadership among the students of Peel District through PSPC, student council, and Peel District School board initiatives.
-
To work independently but in harmony with the Peel District School Board.
